Gough Racing ready for Walter Hayes Trophy - 10/10/10

Following their championship winning year, Gough Racing are all set to battle for victory at this years Walter Hayes Trophy, the blue ribbon Formula Ford event. Taking place at Silverstone on November 6th/7th, the event attracts 150 drivers from all over the world competing for the prestigious title.

Gough Racing will be joined at the event by returning partner, SIB (Southport Insurance Brokers), along with continued support by Oldfields Autos and Teng Tools.

"Its great to receive the support of SIB and Oldfields Auto's once again", commented Stuart. "This will be our 7th year competing, and we have always run in the top six in the final every year, except last year when we rolled out of the semi-final whilst leading! The plan as always is to survive the heat and semi-final and then go all out for the victory in the final. We should have a very good chance and being the champion of Oulton certainly is a boost ahead of the event. Thanks to the support from our partners we go into the event in the best possible shape, kick starting with two days of testing on the 4th/5th November."
