Gough Racing was established in 2002 to run Stuart Gough in the Club Formula Ford Championship. The team has become one of the most successful teams in the championship's history, winning over 50% of races entered and scoring podiums on over 85% of race starts.

In 2007 the Gough Racing team have expanded and can now offer race day support and car preparation. Drivers can benefit from the guidance and knowledge of the teams two race winning drivers using their own equipment,or when available use the teams factory supported Ray GRS07 with Bernard Baxter Power.
